Audio Engineering

Our BSc (Hons) Audio Engineering degree is one of five exciting courses in the Undergraduate Music Programme. A technical and varied course covering a range of topics including acoustics, sound recording and capture, reinforcement, and signal processing; as well as advanced sound signal theory, sound synthesis and processing, audio electronics (including making your own sound tools), multichannel and immersive mixing, mastering, re-mastering and restoration.

The programme is structured across several core modules and elective specializations, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests. Key areas of focus include:
